DownHome Loan Manager: Updates & Features, March 2025

Exciting Updates from DownHome Solutions!

We’re thrilled to share some new features and updates to help streamline your experience with our platform. We’ve been hard at work to make things easier, more intuitive, and up to date with reporting requirements. Here’s a look at the latest improvements and features!

Customization and Report Updates

  • Maturity Projections Report – The Analytics Module has been updated with a new report type: Maturity Projections! This addition will help you better forecast and plan for upcoming maturity dates.
  • CSV Report Customization – Save your column selections for future use in any report! When you choose “Save These Selections,” you can now pick specific columns to include or exclude in your CSV download; you’ll get a flexible report customized for the data you need.   • Custom Tags – You can now sort and reorder user-defined tags, making it easier to organize and use your data.
  • CECL Reporting – A new option has been added to exclude < 30 day delinquency from CECL reports, giving you more control over your reporting data.

External Reporting Updates

  • SBA Reporting Update – We’ve updated the 1502 Community Advantage (CA) Loan reporting module to align with the latest SBA requirements, ensuring that you’re always in compliance with the latest guidelines. We’ve also added an option to test the SBA 1502 CA Loan reporting template, ensuring you can validate your submissions before submitting to the SBA.
  • CDFI Forgivable Loan Options – The CDFI module has received updates to the acceptable choices for Forgivable Loans.
  • 1099-C, Cancellation of Debt form the borrower copy of the 1099-C form can be generated in DLM and printed or sent via email.
  • IRS FIRE reporting for form 1099-C – Submit 1099-C Cancellation of Debt data directly to the IRS using their FIRE reporting system.

Improved User Experience

  • Help Center Search Enhancement – Searching for articles just got easier! Now, our Help Center search looks at both article titles and content, making it faster and more effective to find the information you need.
  • Participant Import – You can now import Participants if you subscribe to our Importer Module. This will save you time and effort by streamlining the data input process.
  • Billing Statements Access – New and previously generated Billing Statements can now be downloaded directly from the loan record! Simply navigate to a loan, go to the Statements tab, and find your Statement History.

Additional Notable Updates

  • Escrow Disclosures – Escrow disclosures can now be generated for loans with all payment schedules, including monthly, weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly.
  • Escrow Delinquency – Escrow Delinquency amounts now persist when you add a Journal Entry (JE-d) to adjust delinquency transactions.
  • Interest Rate Precision – We’ve increased the precision of interest rates to 4 decimal places (e.g., 5.1234) to ensure even more accuracy in your loan calculations.
  • UCC Kind Type – A new UCC Kind type has been added to the Collateral tab for more detailed loan record management.
  • Notes and Documents – Notes can now be added to loans without refreshing the page, making it faster to track and manage loan-related details.
